How do you know its willingly? Maybe Boston is just better (like all the other teams you mentioned).

What really sucks for Cleveland is that the team has improved its roster every year and they have done nothing but regress. The finals team had the shittiest roster, who was the #2 guy on that team? Wally world? I cant even remember.

I think number two was Delante West, HA!

No, Sczerbiak and Delonte West were added later to make that team "better".
That finals team was LeBron, Ilgauskas, Drew Gooden, Pavlovic, Larry Hughes, and a rookie Boobie Gibson.
I forgot how much the East used to suck . . . .

You look at what he did to them in the regular season, then in games 1 and 3... you don't just have 6 monster games out of 7 then come back with this. I think there is something really wrong with him, and I know people are going to be annoyed by this, but I can only think its the elbow.

LeBron is going to drop 30-8-8 tonight and the Cavs will win by at least 10.

Its not that he's had bad games, its that he's played different than he normally has. Something is clearly effecting him. Its not just a matter of missing shots.

I find it very hard to believe that a player that wants to achieve greatness would purposely do stuff that would make himself and his team less effective. I, however, have not had the ability to watch any of the games in this series but I am able to tune in tonight and am looking forward to it. I have heard the reports and seen some video of him not being LeBron-like on the floor though. The elbow has been an issue for him (at some level....maybe not much....maybe more than said), but, why then do you settle for long jumpers instead of driving to the hole? It just doesn't make any sense to me.
I agree though. How he responds to this criticism in game six is huge and if they win I think he also needs to respond well in game seven, win or lose, to essentially sweep this under the rug for the most part.

The most reasonably argument for his play is that he did not want to perform well. If he'd want to do so, he'd drive to the hoop instead of making long jumpers that are heavier for his elbow (if that's the excuse). Also, he just wasn't involved, and that's not something you can explain with a bad shooting night. No, I think the best explenation is that he didn't want to perform well, or more likely, he wanted his teammates to perform well. I think it was something like a last check to see if his team is able to support him to the finals, and I think they failed, which could lead to a higher chance of Lebron leaving Cleveland.

I don't buy this scenario. He doesn't need to completely take himself out of the game to see if his guys can win. That's stupid. If the best player on your team decides not to play, you're not going to win. What I have heard is that he has been taking some pain medication for his elbow, and the side effects are fucking with him. Its not crazy when you think about it.

Can make you drowsy. Still, since it is something that theoretically can not get worse during play then maybe he should have his med level adjusted so he is less drowsy. But, I am not a doctor so I don't know.

So . . . . lets not talk about Cleveland anymore, they aren't the story . . .
Phoenix vs. Los Angeles Orlando vs. Boston
Any possible combination of those 4 teams will make for a great finals. I think Phoenix vs. Boston would be really fun. Nash vs. Rondo. Amare vs. Garnett. Richardson vs. Allen in a 3-point contest. That would be entertaining.
Still Orlando vs. Lakers is the most likely scenario. The question is whether or not Orlando is better or more prepared this year. I think they are . . .
