Warriors in 5 Grizzlies in 7 Spurs in 6 Mavericks in 6
Hawks in 5 Raptors in 5 Bulls in 5 Cavaliers in 5
As a Cavs fan, I was really hoping the Raptors would end up in that 3 slot. The Bulls freak me out. The Cavaliers should win, but this will still be the first playoff experience for Kyrie and Love. If the Cavs get to the ECF, I'm happy.

As a Blazer fan I was wanting The Rockets between the possibilities of Rockets, Grizzlies, Clippers and Spurs.
Do I think we would beat The Rockets, more likely not. But I felt we matched up best with them as our current rosters stood. With Beverly out Lillard would have had free reign. Afflalo can take Harden on the block. Last year proved both Jones and Howard can't guard LaMarcus, so they would be forced to play Josh Smith heavy minutes, which means his plethora of bad shots and bricked free throws. The big thing would have been guarding Harden of course, he could win games by himself. But hoping Afflalo/Batum/Gee/Crabb could have at least limit the 40 point game explosions form him.
But that didn't happen, we got Grizzlies, who have been kind of a mess since the Jeff Green trade, but still are built to match up with us. I am expecting us to lose but hoping we can pull it off. I would have just expected us to get crushed if it was the Spurs so there's that for glass is half full. Ugh, the Matthews injury is so incredibly frustrating because I don't know if there will be a year this wide open ad with the Afflalo acquisition we had a chance to be up int he GS/Spurs/Cleveland/Atlanta spectrum of contenders this season. I hope we do respectable to everyone has less incentive to play the field and we can bring the gang back together next year for a true contending run.

I'm excited to see Grizzlies-Blazers. Was getting tired of Memphis facing the same three teams every year haha.

I wish Conley and Allen were fully healthy and I may pick them to upset GS. Otherwise, I'm unfortunately picking San Antonio to do it again. I think I'm doing this because each year I refuse to pick them and they win it so maybe this is some reverse psychology here. Haha. Wouldn't mind seeing Steve Kerr, Alvin Gentry, Andre Igoudola, and Luke Walton win one for the Arizona ties (U of A or former Suns). Can you imagine if the Warriors wouldn't have pulled out of the deal that was sending Amare to GS for the Curry pick back in the day? Mannnnn

This is going to be a LONG offseason and regular season next year if this is the pace you keep up with these comments haha. But I'd be the same! Sent from The Office of the Phoenix Suns General Manager

Sent from The Office of the Phoenix Suns General Manager If there is one thing the history of my team's evolution has taught us it's that my greatness will not be contained. Greatness breaks free, it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously, but, uh... well, there it is.

Warriors 5 Blazers 6 Rockets 7 Spurs 5
Hawks 4 Raptors 7 Cavs 5 Bulls 6
Before the season started I picked Spurs vs Cavs for Finals with Spurs winning the title and I'm going to stick with those picks. As a Blazers fan I kind of wish the division thing didn't matter so we could be 6th and play the Clippers in 1st round and Mavs or Rockets in the 2nd, instead of Grizz and then Warriors. Not that I think the Blazers will for sure win in the 1st round, I could see it going either way but that seems like an easier path. The Clippers are completely overrated, mostly because people think Doc Rivers is a better coach than he actually is. I see the Spurs handling them pretty easily. Hawks vs Brooklyn is the only series that I have no interest in, the others should be fun to watch. This is the best time of the year!

Western Conference:
1st Round: Golden State vs. New Orleans - in 5
Houston vs. Dallas - in 6
Los Angeles vs. San Antonio - in 7 (The off season Chris Paul stories would get interesting)
Portland vs. Memphis - in 6 (I'm a homer, if it goes to 7, it's Memphis)
2nd Round: Golden State vs. Portland - in 6 (We win 1 in Oakland, they win 2 in Portland)
Houston vs. San Antonio - in 6 (I was tempted to make this in 5, but I having them winning it in SA)
Conference Finals: Golden State vs San Antonio - in 7 (Could go either way)
Eastern Conference:
Round 1: Atlanta vs. Brooklyn in 4 (Gross)
Cleveland vs. Boston - in 5
Chicago vs. Milwuakee - in 6
Toronto vs. Washington - in 6
Round 2: Atlanta vs. Washington - in 5 (Washington needs to fire their coach)
Cleveland vs. Milwuakee - in 4 (Nice story Bucks)
Conference Finals:
Atlanta vs. Cleveland - in 6
Finals:
Golden State vs. Cleveland - in 6

I wish Conley and Allen were fully healthy and I may pick them to upset GS. Sent from The Office of the Phoenix Suns General Manager How unhealthy are Conley and Allen? Memphis is one of the teams that I really don't pay any attention to. With Matthews out (and now Afflalo), I think the Blazers are toast. Blazers fans have a right to be optimistic, but anyone who actually thinks they're going to win this series is lying to themselves. But if Lillard can take advantage of a severely depleted Memphis backcourt . . . maybe they have a puncher's chance.

I'm hearing Afflalo is only going to be out for 1 game. I honestly think this series is a toss up.

Supposedly, Conley and Allen will play. That changed from this morning when they were not expected play.
