And I'm still pissed there were no reprocussions last year for Denver. IMO they should be banned from the postseason for this season. What did Denver do? (besides kick everyone's ass this year?)

I love that thread. So funny. Every time houston posts, I feel like Ted Cruz is sitting on the other side of the keyboard.

Don't be a sore loser before you've even lost.

I see no problem. If you wanna win it all you gotta beat all no matter where you seeded! I would get a "worse" opponent if we would seed by the rules but I don't care cause I have to beat the opponent I get now anyway to get to the conference finals

Props to you for figuring out how to cheat without getting in trouble. Thanks guy! You forgot to give me props for my vision of seeing the FA class last year, loading up on picks, and turning them into gold. GOLD!!!

Houston, if its any consolation, you're the one team I DIDN'T want to face. So there's that.

Now that the arguments are done, how about some predictions?
I'll start with the CLEARLY SUPERIOR Drama Conference (sorry GB and Denver, one of you guys may win it all, but you're playing in the JV league):
1. Strasbourg over 8. Newark
This just proves my point about the conferences. Newark was 8th, yet they have Aldridge, Horford, Ty Lawson, Redick, MKG, Olynyk and RoLo. The problem is Strasbourg is just better, with or without Jimmy Butler. Strasbourg will have a four-game advantage, but they won't need it. Superstorks move on.
5. Kansas City over 4. San Diego
Injuries have forced San Diego to rely on Steve Blake, Dewayne Dedmon, Jason Richardson and Lou Amundson for this first round. KD is still out until some point this season. DeAndre is going to tank their FT %. Kansas City takes this one, and they could challenge Strasbourg.
2. Amsterdam over 7. Atlanta
This match-up is fascinating. Amsterdam is, of course, without Melo, while Atlanta is without Brandon Jennings. Atlanta, in theory, has the backcourt advantage while Amsterdam, in theory, has the frontcourt advantage. If things were equal, I'd pick Atlanta. But they're not. Amsterdam will have a significant games played advantage. Amsterdam moves on, sans Melo.
6. Houston over 3. Cleveland
My upset pick. And yes, I'm picking against myself. I honestly believe Houston will win. They may be playing the best of anyone in the conference. KG is actually playing now, Terrence Jones is no longer hurt, this team is good. Houston will get the games played advantage. Tony Parker and Paul Pierce are playing like themselves again. I'm going with Houston to face, and possibly beat, Amsterdam.

And I'm absolutely rooting for a Denver-Houston final now.

OK, now its time for the JV league, otherwise known as the Comedy Conference.
1. Denver over 8. Phoenix
This one is going to be closer than people think. Phoenix has solid players across the board. In the end, Denver's superstars will win out.
5. Palo Alto over 4. Hollywood
I don't know who wins this. I'll give it to the Shock since Griffin and Young are injured.
2. Manchester over 7. Munich
If Whiteside and Vucevic sit, Munich can win. It looks like they'll be back, though, and that front court is dominant.
3. Great Britain over 7. Portland
The Pound have James Harden AND Russell Westbrook. Holy crap. Sorry, Portland.

Over/Under 2.5 Categories for Phoenix. I take the under. TO and I luck out and win FT haha. Go get em Denver! Sent from The Office of the Phoenix Suns General Manager
