I will adjust the seedings how they should go today. Sorry Brisbane but Phoenix will get in at 8th. What is "how they should go" mean? Is there something in the constitution that I missed? Oh ok. It's not the 3 division winners get top 3 seeds though? Seeds go by overall record, division winners don't matter here. Except for personal pride. So I guess that means GBP will be the 3 seed instead of the 4 seed? I'm assuming all of that will be switched today?

The division winners ARE the top 3 seeds.

At some point today, TD will go adjust the seeds. It should look like this, someone will correct me if I'm wrong:
Comedy Division: 1 DEN vs. 8 PHX 2 MAN vs. 7 POR 3 GB vs. 6 MUN 4 HOL vs. 5 PA
Drama Division: 1 STR vs. 8 NEW 2 AMS vs. 7 HOU 3 CLE vs. 6 KC 4 SD vs. 5 ATL

And who gets the division between Atlanta and I? We're 1-1 against each other and we both beat each other 6-3 but I have the latest win. It will be decided by division standings. You were 4-2 and Atlanta 3-2 so you will be the #6 seed and atlanta #7 This playoff seeding thing is confusing as hell. I'm tied with Houston and Atlanta and I beat both of them during the regular season. So they both get a higher seed than me because their division record is better? I'm with PHX here... how can head-to-head not matter?

This is in the league rules: "PLAYOFFS The top 8 teams from each conference will enter the playoffs. The seeding rules will be real similar to the actual NBA. Division winners will get the top 3 spots with the other 5 being the next highest winning percentage teams in the conference."

Yeah why would we even have divisions if they don't go into seeding? If im playing the teams in my division 2 times a year and every other team once a year then doing it by overall record doesn't make sense because we don't play the same teams. Who we play should matter.

"real similar" is very vague and ambiguous. Why not just copy/paste or say "seeding rules WILL BE the actual NBA rules". I've already admitted that i probably don't deserve to be in the playoffs so I'm not butthurt, but it just seems logical that the rules be spelled out. This situation has had to have happened in the past.

He was referring to when the rule was put in place. He meant "why not copy and paste the NBA rules instead of saying 'very similar'."

Just do it like the NBA does it. Division winners are guaranteed no lower than the 5 seed. Seeding is determined by record first, though. For example, if you had this situation in the NBA:
Cleveland 60-22 Chicago 59-23 Boston 58-24 Indiana 50-32 New York 48-34 Washington 42-40
The seedings would be as follows:
1. Cleveland 2. Chicago 3. Boston 4. Indiana 5. Washington 6. New York

Ok Guys, Last year we planned to change the rules to overall record for playoff seeding being over being a Division leader since the schedules are the exact same for everyone other then one extra game. I forgot to change this in the rules section. Next season I will need to menipulate the schedule so everyone plays the same amount of division games. We are discussing a potentially new way to do playoff seeding next season, but for now this is how the seedings are picked:
Overall Record Head-to-Head Record Division Record
The Seedings go:
Comedy:
1. Denver 16-0 2. Manchester 14-2 3. Great Britain 13-3 4. Hollywood 11-5 5. Palo Alto 10-6 6. Portland 8-8 (1-1 vs Munich, Div. 2-3) 7. Munich 8-8 (1-1 vs Portland, Div. 1-4) 8. Phoenix 7-9 (1-0 vs Brisbane, 1-1 vs NY, Div. 3-2) ------------------------------------------ 9. NY (1-0 vs Brisbane, 1-1 vs Phoenix, Div. 2-4) 10. Brisbane (0-1 vs NY, 0-1 vs Phoenix
Drama:
1. Strasbourg 15-1 2. Amsterdam 14-2 3. Cleveland 13-3 4. San Diego 11-5 5. Kansas City 10-6 ( 1-0 vs Atlanta, 1-0 vs Houston) 6. Houston 10-6 (1-1 vs Atlanta, Div. 4-2) 7. Atlanta 10-6 (1-1 vs Houston, Div. 3-2) 8. Newark 9-7
I will get them changed on ESPN today
