You think Pacers are going to rally huh? Is Stuckey going to be their high scorer, or do you think Hibbert will have a resurgence? I think Hornets will be 3-5 personally
In the West I personally think Mavs might be a problem being overlooked. Phoenix will miss Frye when trying to take the next step. This might be the year for the Clippers to be the top team in the West

I'm all for this. We should assign a point system for our predictions (.5 points for a correct playoff team, 1 point for correct playoff spot, 5 points for correct finals teams, 10 points for NBA champ, 5 points for each award category) or something like that. I'll leave that up to the smart people here.
Here we go!
Eastern Conference: 1. Cavaliers 2. Bulls 3. Wizards 4. Hornets 5. Raptors 6. Heat 7. Pacers 8. Pistons
Western Conference: 1. Clippers 2. Spurs 3. Thunder 4. Warriors 5. Mavericks 6. Grizzlies 7. Blazers 8. Rockets
Conference Finals: East: Cavaliers vs Bulls West: Spurs vs Clippers
Finals: Cavaliers vs Clippers
Champion: Cavs
Season Awards: MVP: Lebron James ROY: Elfrid Payton DEF: Serge Ibaka 6Man: Jamal Crawford M.I.: Giannis Antetokounmpo Coach: David Blatt

That would be a round 2 matchup (and one helluva good one)

I don't have any real evidence to back that theory up but I think with him gone, Hibbert will have a resurgence. I think they will find a way to win games.

I really wanted to put the Pelicans in the West top 8 but I couldn't take anyone out, they should be good though.

I think they will be just plain horrible offensively. Plus this is a perfect chance at a one year suck fest for a lottery pick (a la Spurs when David Robinson got injured)

1) Chicago 2) Cleveland 3) Washington 4) Toronto 5) Miami 6) Charlotte 7) Atlanta 8) New York
9) Brooklyn 10) Boston 11) Detroit 12) Milwaukee 13) Indiana 14) Orlando 15) Philadelphia
Cleveland won’t get the number 1 seed due to their core getting acclimated with each other. But they will be better than Chicago by the Playoffs. Toronto only improved by getting Louis Williams as a backup combo guard. Not good enough in my opinion to leave the first round. I think their record will be worse than Miami, Charlotte, and Atlanta. The Knicks were a few games shy last year of making the playoffs. However with Brooklyn and Indiana declining they may actually sneak in this year with the upgrade at PG. Brooklyn’s success hinges on the health of their injury prone core. The only one who may not be injury prone is Garnett. A point I do want to make. After watching the Bucks preseason I think Kidd has done a fantastic job optimizing on their strong passing. Both Antekounmpo and Parker are excellent passers. To have two point guards at practically all times of the game will allow them to win more than people suspect through efficient offense. I don't trust Indiana to make the playoffs. They’re relying on injury prone Roy Hibbert, and David West who’s at the end of his career. They’re best off tanking and drafting a complimentary player to George.
1) San Antonio 2) Oklahoma City 3) LA Clippers 4) Golden State 5) Memphis 6) Dallas 7) Houston 8) Portland
9) Phoenix 10) Denver 11) New Orleans 12) Minnesota 13) LA Lakers 14) Sacramento 15) Utah
Oklahoma City were a top 3 seed team without Westbrook most of the season last year. Scott Brooks and Sam Presti are quite possibly the 2nd best Coach/GM combo in the league. I trust their ability to win games while Durant is gone. Especially with Reggie Jackson on his contract year. CP3 is an excellent PG but he seems to have a difficult time rallying his team to go far in the playoffs. I have a strong suspicion they will end up being matched up with Memphis. If they do play Memphis in the first round I’d feel very confident in them losing. Conley is the best defensive PG in the league and he shut CP3 down before in the playoffs. Dallas acquired a 3rd option who averaged 20 points in Parsons. He’s now either their first or 2nd option. I foresee him having a James Harden-like break out season. Dallas also uses a very effective passing system that will certainly compliment him. Houston got a lot worse than people think. They lost their backup PG Lin, their back up center Asik, and they downgraded at SF with Ariza. Part of me feels inclined to say they may not even make the playoffs. But that really all comes down to Ariza. Portland and Phoenix is a tossup for me. I think Utah will end up with the first pick.

You might be the first person in the history of the world to say this. Scott Brooks, by all accounts, is a terrible coach. He's a great leader, great man, players love him, but he cannot coach X's and O's. Presti is an incredible scout (let's not act luck didn't play a little part in that)., but trading Harden away is one of the unforgivable moves of the last 3 years, and, as their title window is as open as it'll ever be, he refuses to pay the luxury tax and their only move this offseason was signing Anthony Morrow. Anthony Morrow. Ya know, the guy who has never played in a playoff game. Just baffling.

Roy Hibbert in his career:
70/82 games played 81/82 81/82 65/66 79/82 81/82
How is he injury prone again? There are quite a few notes that I disagreed with (KG NOT injury prone? Jabari Parker being a FANTASTIC passer? Presti/Brooks 2nd best GM/coach combo in the league?), but the Hibbert one has literally no basis in reality.
