Newark receives: Pick 1.6 in 2020 Draft Pick 1.18 in 2020 Draft 2021 First Round Pick (AMS)
Salary before: $31,310,000 Salary after: $16,810,000
Amsterdam receives: Kemba Walker - $14,500,000 (2023) Pick 2.59
Salary before: $33,650,000 Salary after: $48,150,000
I accept, reluctantly. Kemba is one of my favorite players and it's tough to lose him, but realistically, I'm no longer in win now mode losing Barton and with Drummond, Hield, Curry, and Holmes free agents. This is going to be a retool and hopefully a quick rebuild through the draft and free agency.

Amsterdam accepts. This is another transaction to reconfigure this inherited roster. Walker will be an integral part to the building blocks of my new team. I prefer established veterans than taking a risk in this upcoming draft. I believe giving up the two first rounds for this season, and the first round for next season is worth the investment. Thanks for the welcome, and the business!

This is a bit of a steep price for Walker honestly. Not that Walker isn't worth it to aquire but three first rounders could be three starters if you draft well. It's not lopsided enough to veto but just saying it may be one Amsterdam looks back and wishes they values their draft capital a bit more, this coming from someone who didn't do that eough when this league first started.
2-0
