San Diego’s Cap space before: $350,000 San Diego’s Cap space after: $ 800,000 San Diego’s total roster after: 12 players
Portland Accepts: We Need a BIG Man! Both our Centers have gone down leaving us with no true centers on our roster. Here we get out true center for at least the rest of this season. It hurts to lose Blake and his threes and Outlaw should be coming back from injury soon and he's always an energy off the bench but picking up Camby is much better for us in the thick of a playoff race.

San Diego Accepts: Camby will sure be missed , but we trying to have our cake and eat it too as this is going to hopefully help us to make the playoffs as well as provide financially flexibility with the big FA extravaganza coming up this summer as player come off our cap. Blake will help as a solid back up PG and Outlaw is an exciting, long and young player that could provide a nice spark for our team. Any of the three players involved in this trade could be resigned as a Clipper this offseason. Our options have only expanded with this trade. The cash was needed to make the trade work for our cap. Skinner unfortunately wasn't getting enough playing time on the team, so replacing him with a productive player will help as well.
