And some part of me just knew that a 16-1 season in this league, my longest-running dynasty league, was a bit too good to be true.
At least I won’t harbor any lifelong resentment to Ben Simmons for failing my fantasy team in the playoffs.
Anybody else grateful they won’t have to see something in the 19/20 NBA season?
There might be catharsis here?

although my team didn"t deliver all season and my season is already over, I would love to see the games played later this year/summer.

For both my fantasy Trail Blazers and the real life Trail Blazers, I'm happy to just pretend this season never happened. Injuries derailed both seasons, and some desperate off season moves (for both) just didn't pan out. We'd been on such a good ride the past few years, hopefully everyone regroups and gets healthy and 2020/21 looks promising. It's a blessing in disguise that the Blazers can just shut down Dame and CJ, and not risk anything with Nurk and Collins returning just to go balls to the wall for what would maybe be an 8th seed.
As far as the rest of the NBA, I'm really happy I don't have to watch the Lakers in the Finals, but pretty bummed that this is the end of Vince Carter's career. Fingers crossed that the Raptors sign him to a 10-day contract to retire a Raptor next year. He always always one of my favorite players.

When we hear what the NBA will do when they return we can discuss if we want to do anything like a offline championship of the top two teams or something. It sounds like they are going to try and have a week of regular season still when they return.
I hope everyone out there is staying safe!

From a selfish standpoint, I feel like my team was the best equipped to make a run in the playoffs, even though I would have technically lost the tiebreaker to Newark for best record. I don't think you can fairly award a champion this year. I think it just gets called.

Everyone doing ok out there? This place went silent, understandably. Hope everyone is safe and well!

Everyone doing ok out there? This place went silent, understandably. Hope everyone is safe and well! Echoing this sentiment. It's about that time of year when I'd start to get excited about the PnR offseason, and then (usually) make horrendous mistakes via the Draft or FA. Hope y'all are hangin' in there.

Hey everyone!
Just checking in. This is my first log in since March. Hope everyone is safe and healthy, I've got a couple updates coming shortly including final standings and draft lottery order.
Missing fantasy, but just glad basketball is back. Looking forward to getting after it next season!

Unfortunately we don't have a champion for this season. However, Oakland will get the Champiosnhip bonus since they were in sole place of first place.
