For people that have been here a little while I ask, what is your worst move as a GM in this league? The one that haunts you
For me it’s trading Jusef Nurkic and a first round pick that ended up being Jamal Murray for a rookie Emanuel Mudiay.
Followed closely by not making room on my roster for Pascal Siakam when I drafted him in the 2nd round but ended up waiving his option.
Third place is probably sitting on Dwyane Wade too long in the early years of the league and not trading him until he already started to break down.

I’ll have to go back and look but off the top of my head its using a resign on broke ass deron williams. Im an illini fan so i was pretty much the last one to believe in him.

Someone used a re-sign each on Brandon Knight and Timofey Mozgov in the same offseason, so D-Will is not too bad.
I can actually give you a top 5:
Number 5: Signing DeMarre Carroll at $10,500,000 for 2 years Well, I was actually fine icing the cap on him, because I anticipated the large FA-class two years later in which I resigned him at a modest price. Still, in that time span he was my second best paid player (above Paul George!) and coincidently he had his awful Raptors season during that contract.
Number 4: Trading Vucevic and Josh Richardson for Blake Griffin Before I get to this one, I really need to get a question out, that I had for some time now: What's the problem with Blake,y'all??? I get the injuries and shooting problems, but he is still a clear top 30 player on my sheet. I was shocked (and happy) that nobody counter offered him in last year's Free Agency and really wonder much cheaper I could've gotten him... Anyway with the way Richardson developed and Vuc turned into an All Star this trade was still pretty bad.
Number 3: Trading Dame for Kemba, then trading Kemba for Ricky Rubio I was allways (too) high on pretty Ricky. Though I still like him and the whole process netted me 4 1sts, I have too much respect for Lillard to not regret this one.
Number 2: Signing Markieff Morris for $14,500,000 (for 3 years!) There is just no excuse for giving up a quarter of my cap on the worse Morris twin. Only upside is someone actually gave me farewell tour Kobe Bryant in return for Morris that same season. (He got amnesty waived the next season and I really did bid on him again. Fortunatly someone outbid me. He got amnesty waived again the following season...)
Number 1: Trading Beal and Aaron Gordon for Ty Lawson, MKG and Kelly Olynyk Turns out my first move in this league is my worst (so far). In hindsight this trade really makes me question our trade voting system. It was voted 3-0. Mighty commented "1-0. I like this trade for both teams. Lots of talent moving here." and Phoenix called this trade "nice". You should've saved me from myself and I blame you for not making the second round until now!

In the last 10 years I made a bagful of dumb moves ... My top 3 are: 3. the Allen tradeIn 2017 in a trade with New Orleans he asked me to add Jarrett Allen or Willy Hernangomez. I choose to keep Hernangomez and then even lost him via FA the following season ... Could have had 4 seasons of Jarrett Allen instead. 2.the Beal tradeIn 2014 prior to the draft I traded Beal for the #6 only to draft Dante Exum with it. But in my mind I blame our old re-sign rule for that, since I traded Beal cause I already had 3 guys I wanted to re-sign and Beal had only 2 years left and the rookie would have had 4 years ... and Number 1. the inaugural draftIn the second round of our inaugural draft in 2010 I drafted OJ Mayo ahead of Blake Griffin who came back from injury to play his rookie season. But much worse was drafting Agent Zero in Round 1 ahead of guys like Westbrook, Rondo, Love and Griffin only cause of Arenas shooting more 3's than Westbrook But some days later at least I even made a franchise saving move, when I traded a future first and #5 of the 2010 draft for #4, so I could draft Cousins instead of Wes Johnson

I didn’t really understand it either. I saw bg at 10 n figured it would go up. My plan was to tank so I didn’t pay close enough attention. I probably would have jumped in if i saw it in time but by the time i got back he was gone for that same amount. I was disappointed in all of us lol

I was disappointed in all of us lol I targeted him and Vucevic in my auction draft league last year (Mighty, San Diego, Barcelona, Seattle and Brooklyn are all also in that league) because I felt they were being undervalued and it worked great. Blake was just a constant stat machine for me, Vuc too until Mid-way through the season I traded Vuc for Westbrook as I already had Gobert, Turner and Cousins was coming back. I then lost in the championship to Barcelona I saw Blake at that price and was mad I didn't have the cap to sign him.

I signed Joe Harris to a reasonable contract last summer. Everything else I've done is a crime against fantasy sports.
But the move I regret the most was picking Fultz 3rd over Tatum. I still blame Mighty Mouse for picking DS Jr. 1st overall....really threw a wrench in my plan to pick whoever was left of Fultz/Ball at 2 and nab Tatum at 3.

Last season, sitting in a decent spot in the standings I felt if I made a move for a top 30 fantasy player that I would have a shot with a big 3 of Booker, Oladipo, and said star. Traded Bam, Dennis Schroeder (whose contract price and length made me weary the moment I signed him) and my 1st rounder (which I figured would be late 1st) for Jrue Holiday. A guy who would put me over the top in 3s and assists IMO based on the rest of my roster at the time (and I believe I was top 3 in my conference at the time in pts, 3s, steals, assists). ONE WEEK LATER (it may have been less), Oladipo tears his ACL.... I'm out a star AND two contributors?!? But it gets better.....well worse....despite trying my best the rest of the way, I fell all the way out of the playoffs completely...then...my slot for the ping pong draft balls ends at number 11....and that shit hits and Miami ends up with the 4th overall pick. WTF. Fuck me now just thinking about this whole series all over again! Hahahha, this topic just haaaaad to come up this offseason!

And with that being said...
This is still by far the best fantasy basketball league I've ever been apart of. I love it!

My worst move was from summer of 2014, I traded CJ McCollum for 2 late first round draft picks who turned out being Jarnell Stokes (summer league champion) and Cleanthony Early (got shot a strip club). In my defense CJ was not good yet when I traded him, but ya easily my worst move, congrats to Mighty for that one
