We need to get players on the teams in the East. Washington, Philly, and Toronto still don't have players. And it would really suck to have my chances at the #1 pick hindered because teams that are better than me didn't have their rosters set.
I refuse to tank, I will set my lineup everyday... I think the fact that I'm playing for a good draft pick isn't a secret. Let's get this together.

board=questions thread=445 Don't discount him just yet, he managed to beat me in 1 cat. haha ! Yes, i guess i will lose the TO category too. This exchange is either hilarious or kinda sad... I can't tell. Question for the Commissioner - Will this league survive what has appeared to be an awful start to the season?

Oaks. I am not the lead comish, obviously, but I see no reason why it will not survive. We just need to get these dead team's some players and set the starting lineup. We'll be able to fill them and any new league almost always has a bit on the high side of turnover initially. Over time you weed out the pathetic excuses for living organisms and replace them with dedicated owners of varying levels of knowledge.

Rosters are all set and good to go. I'm gonna implement another check-in just so we can take tabs on who is here and active. But I don't really see a need to replace owners mid-season. I'll try very hard to contact the absentee owners we already have, but I can almost guarantee whoever we add mid-season will be a flake who is unhappy with their team and gone by next year. I'm a firm believer that the best time to add new owners is just before the draft.
I'm just curious about how many dedicated owners we still have.

Yeah I agree that there's just a small possibility to find new owners for teams that are screwed already, but there's some good teams without active owners which we could find replacement for.

However, these teams can not trade if they have league ownership. Which, hinders general league activity to some extent and takes away some of the fun of the game. Also, if it is a decent or better team a new owner could compete this season and find the enjoyment in running the team. If it is a scrap and rebuild team (some would argue that my team is the poster board of that....haha....) then the new owner can move away parts that have more value now for picks, etc, in a rebuild. Worst case scenerio is the new owner(s) flake out and we are back at square one. So, I really don't see the downside of adding new owners now. For the record....I was an in-season add in Miege's league.

The schedule is still jacked up out west. I'm still not sure why i play SAC 3 times and Vegas not at all. I know Mighty said he had fixed the first 3 weeks and would fix the rest later, so my question is - is it later yet?
I'm not trying to be a pest but these are the things that seem to make this league so disorganized and possibly why owners have dropped - before replacing owners things like this should be top priority.

The schedule is coming. Its done on paper, it just takes so damn long to edit the thing manually . . . . I'll get the rest of it up in the next week or so. At least a couple weeks done tonight. Don't worry, you'll be playing everyone the correct amount.

Standings have been updated. Schedule for the next two weeks has been updated.
Biggest surprise??? The Kings are 3-0 without an owner. Or, the entire Southwest Division has a losing record.

I wondered if the Kings owner ever showed up again or not.
I was admittedly sad to get my only loss from an ownerless squad. It stunk even more that I lost by literally just 1 point! 659 to 660 points! That week 1 point total would have beaten any other team in the West, except the Rich's Nuggets. Oh well, just one loss. But man, this proposed Jarrett Jack trade would really screw things up.
