My understanding was it should be 1 win a week, so a 5-4 win is the same as an 8-0 win, is that not how it set up Oaks?

I think he means that that is indeed the way it's set up (the one who wins most cats, wins the matchup), which encourages a strategy of punting cats instead of keeping a balanced team.

If what amsterdam is saying is correct, I am not in favor of that way of scoring. Should be counting all categories.

However, it does have more of a realistic feel, higher stakes and more intense matchups isntead of just playing an opponent to gather some cats. I've been in a real nice Most Cats league next year, and it's not so much as just disregarding some cats, more of a "Specialization vs Generalization" thing.

I see your point, but if you are a playoff team, then it doesn't really matter in my mind. All that matters in the playoffs is that you win. Playing for most cats would mostly affect ranking of the lottery teams.

Ya, well me and Mighty played in a league of all categories counting and it was annoying because teams in divisions with weak teams had padded stats, where strong teams that were in stronger divisions were penalized almost. For instance I was in a pretty strong division with three playoff teams and was the last spot in the playoffs and ended up making it to the finals because the teams on top (who were good) were kind of inflated because of the teams they played regularly. I also like the week to week matchups as sometimes you can have bad weeks in games played, injuries, or w/e, and this way it doesn't screw you as much for having a touch luck week. I also personally don't see throwing away some stats as a bad thing, it's just a type of strategy you can employ, if you don't like that strategy, find a different strategy.

Is the EAST conference ready too ?
GMs could pick their own players if you don't have enough time to create the 15 rosters.

It's still baseball season. LOL. Just kidding. Yeah, we might want to get ESPN set up. Ricky Rubio needs a team to join....next year.

Mighty has always been money. I am not worried (yet). But maybe someone who has his email should email him......like....a couple hundred times.

Ok. A lot of good hard work has gone into this league. This is getting a bit stupid. I hope Mighty is alright.
