No, I was just stating that LeBron hasn't been able to shoot for a while. Meanwhile, D-Rose is knocking down jumpers left and right after being horribad in the regular season. So unfair. I agree. If LeBron was playing better and D-Rose was playing worse, this series would be over. Chicago is lucky they're playing this well or this series could have been ugly. Quit being a tool. You knew exactly what point I was trying to make.

Quit being a tool. You knew exactly what point I was trying to make. I honestly don't. LeBron is perfectly healthy. And has played well for the majority of this series. And Cleveland is up 3-2. They're the STILL the favorite to come out of the East and STILL a legit title contender. I don't know why you're downplaying that so much. The Cavs AND LeBron are really, really, really good.

All I was saying was that Rose was shooting over his head, particularly on jumpers, and LeBron was shooting horribly (before last night, that is).

Most amazing comeback I've seen since the Clips came back on Memphis.

Anyone catch "The Lowe Post" with Brian Windhorst? Good insight on the Kevin Love situation (among other things). Basically every executive, scout, staff member that both Lowe and Windhorst have spoken to think Love is gone. Admittedly, they believe some of that is the fear of the Lakers, and they don't necessarily think he's gone, but they do believe it's a real thing and that everything isnt hunky dory in Cleveland.
Starts at about the 37 min mark of the pod if you're interested.

I also liked their back-and-forth on "Riley Curry-gate"

The national media consistently purports stories without ANY facts. They won't even put credible names to these claims. I find it hard to believe that Love, who was so vocal about wanting to leave Minnesota and who has been so vocal about his commitment to Cleveland, would want to leave.
The Lakerrs rumor makes zero sense. Love has said he wants to win. His team, as injured as they are, are on the cusp of an NBA Finals appearance. Why would he walk away from that to go to LA where they aren't going to be winning any time soon?
You've got to take what Windhorst says with a grain of salt.
Miege would know better, but I don't think Windhorst is as imbedded with the Cavs as he claims to be.

Miege would know better, but I don't think Windhorst is as imbedded with the Cavs as he claims to be. Zach Lowe is one of the most connected NBA people there is. Windhorst has been with Lebron for the past 5 years so he isn't all that in tune with the inner workings of the Cavs. He admits he can't get a read on Love. He's referring to the people he's talked to. There is no reason either of them would lie and neither made any claims that they had inside info. Lowe went so far as to say he wouldn't say it's 50-50 or anything but that just bc he's saying all the right things doesn't mean jack squat. It's silly to believe anything a pro athlete has said about their happiness/desire to be somewhere. All they're saying is it's not butterflies and rainbows in Cleveland.

I'm just saying is that the only people putting their name on these claims are the media guys. Not a single one will mention where they are getting this info. I get that you don't reveal your sources in journalism, but how come none of these execs have come forward? All you ever read is that "rumblings around the league" and "rival execs think"... Why wouldn't they say that? Love in Cleveland is scary for the rest of the league. And let's be honest, the media hates Cleveland.
There's no substance to their claims. The Cavs are a tightly run organization -- especially with Lebron. And I think you've got to take Love's comments seriously. There are ways to passively keep the peace by saying the right things. Then, there are ways to be clear in your intentions. In my opinion, Love has fallen into the latter.

I mean I have the same grip with the media regarding LaMarcus. He has constantly said Portland is where he wants to be and he wants to be the best Blazer ever. You also look at the financial logistics and it just makes since for him to stay next year (sign a 1 year deal with an option for year 2, give us one more year to prove to him we can be a contender then next year he can get the mega max with us), but the media is basically shoving him out the door this season. The funny thing I hear is "GM's around the league hint LaMarcus signing with Portland, isn't a for sure thing" that could be GM's around the league planting stories because they WANT LaMarcus to sign elsewhere. It's all a game.

It's all a game. Exactly. It's all just shit being thrown out there to stir the pot. I personally hope LMA stays in Portland. Same thing for Love. The media guys are "talking" to unnamed executives. How are rival execs going to have access to other teams FOs? I think, specific to Love, that there is legitimate fear of him saying next to LBJ and Kyrie for the next 5 years and these "execs" will spread whatever stories they can to draw an audience. It's just like this whole "Matthew Dellevadova is a villain" campaign. The guy gets involved in a few plays and the media crucifies him. The leg lock in Taj Gibson was Delly being an irritant after Gibson high screened him and pushed him around. The guy dives after a loose ball in a PLAYOFF game and out hustles Korver, which, unfortunately, resulted in an injury. Not a dirty play, just good hustle. THEN Al Horford drags Delly down by his arm/shoulder, pulling him over Carroll, drops an elbow on him, and somehow the media concocts a story, portraying Delly as a villain. Meanwhile, Horford gets a pass as a "level headed guy." Need I remind you of Horford's cheap shot on TJ Ford a few years back? The point I'm getting at is that the media paints a picture that they want you to believe. It's all fabrication.

Yeah, Windy isn't as connected as he used to be. He also said that Love has been adamant about returning, and he's inclined to believe him (which you conveniently left out).
I don't even know anymore. I don't think he's leaving. He's been too forceful in his responses. Every time he's been asked about it, he's given some variation of "I'm opting in" or "I'm here for the long haul." He was asked straight up about the Lakers being an option, and he said "no." Basically, he's doing all of the things that LeBron didn't do.
So he's either telling the truth, or he has a horrible P.R. person.
