It is with great excitement that the NBA announces the furthering of its international program with the proposed relocation of the Seattle Supersonics to Lhasa, Tibet as the Lhasa Dream Shake.
The Sonics have secretly trained for years during the offseason in the Himalyan foothills and have built a great rapport with the local Buddhist monks and Chinese occupational government.
When asked whether grueling offseason conditioning work, often involving carrying climbers' gear to base camps as a sherpa, might have been a factor in Derrick Rose's back-to-back season-ending knee surgeries, new President of Basketballl Operations Megatroid deflected the criticism, "You know, the Dalai Lama was a pretty fine point guard in his day. You never heard him bitch and moan about humping it up and down K-2 and Everest in the middle of August."
According to organization sources, the Dream Shake are unlikely to be competitive but hoping to score several wins by forfeiture as visiting teams are either too winded to play in the high elevation or crash their planes into the snow-capped peaks of Tibet.
The Sonics front office also unveiled its marketing strategy for the propose Lhasa Dream Shake:
"Sherpa Got Game!"

I apologize. I had posted this before fully reading the relocation policy. I have since PM'd Trailducker and await your decision.
