Hello Everyone if you remember me, I am TrailDucker the Commissioner!
I want to apologize to everyone, because this season I sucked. Even though below I have a list of excuses, they don't excuse my neglect and I'm sorry to you all. If I am still Commissioner next season, or if I'm not, I vow to be much better!
Basically my absence this season is a convergence of multiple things I will list below:
1.) My computer is close to ultimate death; almost unusable now. A couple years ago a virus snuck through my anti-virus. It fucked shit up but I was able to recover, but my anti-virus kept saying there was a trojan in my system 32 folder, but couldn't find it to delete it (and I didn't want to reinstall Windows, as pretty much anything in system 32 means you have to uninstall EVERYTHING). Well over the last year random pop ups on websites started sprouting up now (some I hear but don't see), any browser I use will randomly freeze, or the page will just change all together to an advertisement. Streaming anything is a crap shoot at best. I basically just use my computer to play my home workout videos (which includes a lot of pausing, putting my computer to sleep for a minute, then restart) and to hold my iTunes library. I want to get a new computer but with school debt, TV I bought on my Best Buy credit Card and other things I will list below, I don't want to spend the money right now. I plan to by the end of summer (hopefully).
2.) As my skill set and knowledge has increased so has my job responsibilities. At first it was a little overwhelming but now I'm handling it better. This also led to a situation at work. Someone was on a project with me and she doesn't like to be on a project with other people. Well with my home computer being so shitty I was on this during work and every time this lady would go by desk and see something other then the programs we use for work she would run to one of the firm principals and tattle on me. I know this because one of the principals told me, they weren't mad at me and said they don't care as long as I get my work done, but she told me to be careful. So I dramatically limited how much I went on this website and others at work now.
3.) I was in a weird relationship with a weird girl. This girl made me jump through so many hoops as I look back I was such a sucker and feel like a dip-shit for liking her as much as I did. Not much more needs to be said, I've already exerted way too much effort on this chick in my life.
4.) In a snowstorm we had here a dude ass-rammed my Ford focus with his Chevy 4x4. It nearly totaled my car; luckily narrowly didn't. I am actually still going through physical therapy because of this.
5.) A month and a half before that crash I actually got in an accident in the snow where I ran into a curb. I paid for the repairs, and new traction tires only for it to get fucking smashed later by dude's truck (finger gun to the head). I still have to buy new regular tires as they were damaged.
6.) I started studying for my Architecture Exams. I used the word started in past tense because I stopped recently after the crash stuff because all of the money I saved up went to fixing my car (There's 7 tests and they are $250 a pop!).
Well that's my sob story! I promise to begin to get my shit together on here over the next couple months, but I really am sorry to everyone on here. You deserve more from me!
Love,
TD
