The Sacramento Kings have submitted a relocation request to the league office.
As per league rules, the Sacramento Kings' proposal must be put to a vote. It needs a 2/3 majority to pass. Voting deadline is set for two weeks from now - Wednesday 02/01. If 10 "no" votes are not received by the end of voting, the relocation is automatically approved.

"I really don't have a great reason for wanting to relocate this fantasy franchise other than the "NBA Pacers" have gotten off to a great start, and maybe some of that luck will rub off on to the "Fantasy Pacers." I did kick around the idea of getting a moving truck (just like the Baltimore Colts did) and move the franchise during the night to Indianapolis. After consulting with Durant and Kobe, they thought the smart thing was to ask for the league owners approval first.

Lastly, now that the divisions have been renamed, and we are in the "Reggie Miller" Division, that gave me conformation that it would be a good decision to move now.
