The ownership of Philadelphia requests not only to move to New York City, but also to change the name. New York City isn't just one borough, it's 5 boroughs, and the objective we would have is to unify the whole city with a team called the New York Knicks.
We see that there is a financial opportunity to be exploited with the vacancy of the Knicks. The Knicks are not only a franchise known for it's prestige, class and loyalty. They stand for tradition. We feel with our current direction now, not only could we bring this franchise back to relevance but could even bring in a dynasty, something many Knick fans have been yearning for.
