I'm not in favor of moves to Mexico or China either... but the name was the biggest problem. Like I said, the Euro division is nice, but every other location would be virtually impossible. Why not Mexico or China? FYI Guadalajara is 3 hours south of LA and 1.5 hours south of SA so I dont see a big deal. Besides, I think that Mexico gets a team before Europe.

Why do you think Mexico gets a team before Europe? I will have to double check, but to my knowledge there is only 1 Mexican born player in the NBA--Najera. Compare that to Europeans, where there probably well over 50 NBA players. Players also go overseas to Europe when they want to work on their NBA game. Oh and let's look at Mexico from a financial standpoint. Who can afford to go to a game. Guadalajara might be a few hours south of Cali, but what number of Americans are going to a.) have a passport and use it to go to games on a regular basis or b.) buy a passport exclusively for NBA games? On the other side of that argument, who in Guadalajara can afford to go to the games when the average income floats right around $10,000?

On the other side of that argument, who in Guadalajara can afford to go to the games when the average income floats right around $10,000? Because the city of Monterrey already has a team in a league thats why. I dont know a country in Europe that has a team in a USA league. The passport thing is the easiest thing for you because USA people only need the passport as a restriction to be in the country. Lots of people here in the city has the financial resources to go to games, let alone buying season tickets. The city has the highest GDP of the country, with only Chicago having more potential in North America. Look, we're 4.5 million people here and i bet 1 million is a basketball fanatic and 300 000 has the money to attend NBA games. Dont try to lowball my country like this and stop with the dumb stereotypes. BTW Najera is mexican from a small town in Chihuahua and it is not Cherokee lol

I think the fact that
1) Mexico doesn't have its own world class basketball league 2) doesn't have the distance between it and the United States that Europe has and 3) has shown a willingness / eagerness to embrace American sports with little to no marketing directed at them
makes them an equally viable candidate for a fantasy basketball franchise as any city in Europe.
I understand the concerns regarding the country's GDP, but all reports from the commissioner's office signal that the average admission price for fantasy basketball matchups is falling league-wide. Even season ticket packages for fantasy basketball games are going at an extremely affordable rate right now.

I wasn't sterotyping anything.
I am simply going off information that I have found. And you are saying that you BET 1 million people are basketball fanatics and that 300,000 have money to attend games. These are self-generated statistics. I'm not trying to offend or stereotype anyone from any country, I am simply going by information that I discovered.
Again, it's a fantasy league, I get that. I just think that some of these relocation requests are ridiculous. I mean, I can object to whatever I want.
I think I will relocate to Baghdad after all...

Here are my 2 cents about where the teams could/should relocate.
1) It would be nice to have a full Europe division (Looks like one team is currently missing)
2) There could be a couple foreign teams in North America (Toronto already exists, i have no problem with Mexico)
3) The remaining 20+ teams should stay in the US (and possibly move inside the US like New Jersey -> Las Vegas did)
But, of course, i am open to every other suggestion.
