THE BASICS
The Pick and Roll Simulation Basketball League is a fantasy league for die hard NBA fans. Our goal is to create a league where fantasy owners get a chance to manage a basketball team by controlling every level of decision making from trades, to managing drafts, waivers, free agency, D-League designations, and more.
Our Regular Season will be run as a Fantasy League on a host website to be determined later (ESPN, Yahoo, Fantrax, etc.)
At the end of the regular season 16 teams will compete in a 4-week playoff detailed below.
THE STAFF
The league will be run by 2 Co-Commissioners and 7 Moderators. At the conclusion of each season (after the play-offs, before the rookie draft) all members of the league will vote for 7 new staff members (six Moderators and one Commissioner). There is no limit to how long someone can serve as a Moderator or a Commissioner, but you must be re-elected each year.
THE CO-COMMISSIONERS FOR THIS SEASON IS:
Mighty Mouse & TrailDucker
THE MODERATORS FOR THIS SEASON ARE:
dunky69
Munich Barons GM
NAUHandler
Roar GM (Josh)
San Diego Scorpions
Thuringia Brats GM (Toni)

SCORING
Teams will compete head to head in 9 categories for 18 weeks in the regular season. Each week, the team that wins the most categories will receive a win...the team that loses the most will be awarded a loss. During match play every team is required to have a player assigned to each of the 7 roster spots on the scoring platform for a majority of the match. Failure to do so will lead to a reduction in cap space for the following season of $10 Million for each match where a full roster is not used. You will have one "oops I made a mistake" to claim before the cap infractions are given.
OUR SCORING CATEGORIES ARE:
Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Turnovers, Three Pointers Made, Field Goal % and Free throw %.
In the even of a tie the winner of the points category will be declared the winner.
LEAGUE ORGANIZATION
The league will consist of 30 teams in two conferences. Each conference will consist of three divisions, each home to five teams. After every season we will re-arrange the teams throughout the league "World Cup Style" so the top teams get split up and so on down the rankings. This will keep competitiveness throughout the league. We will have unique Conference and Division names each year as well. The current league set up is:
UEFA CONFERENCE:
Les Diables Rouges Division:
Charlotte Bobcats
Golden State Warriors
Las Vegas Love
New Orleans Hornets
Newark Jets
Seleccao das Quinas Division:

PLAYOFFS
The top 8 teams from each conference will enter the playoffs. Seeding will be based on who has the highest winning percentage with Head-to-Head as the tie breaker and Division record as the secondary tie breaker if necessary. The seeding rules will be real similar to the actual NBA with our own twists. After the season ends we will have a quick "Playoff Draft" to select the Playoff match ups in the first round. The top team from each conference will get to select their first round opponent between the 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th place teams in their conference (you can not select from the other conference). Next the 2nd place team will select, followed by third and the fourth place team will play the remaining team. The playoff bracket from there will be set up how is typically known (1st & 4th are on one side of the bracket, 2nd & 3rd are on the other side). The last two teams standing from each conference will face off in the league final.
LEAGUE CHAMPION REWARD
If you are lucky enough to become the League Champion. Your reward is an extra re-sign to be used. This extra re-sign is good for any of the next 5 offseasons, beginning the season you are League Champion.
