So right now with Denver's so graceful bowing out of this league we have a total of 8 staff members
Commissioner:
TrailDucker
Deputy Commissioner:
Mighty Mouse
Moderators:
Amsterdam Nightmare molterszwarriors Munich Barons NAUHurdler Roar GM (Josh) San Diego Scorpions
This is a good number to continue on in next season. Just any of the staff members let me know if they wish to step down this season (no shaming if so). If not, we can continue on and get the offseason officially started soon!

I'd be ready to step in if any mod decides to retire his office Anyway, there is another question bothering me for a while: why is the Mod Lounge private? I think those discussions should be made public. You can still use PMs if you have some super secret stuff going on.

Whoa when did he bounce? The Office of the General Manager for the Phoenix Suns I'll just address this here. Meige and Richardson decided to ride out into the sunset. Meige emailed me and said he's too busy, but I'm certain there's more to the story then just that. Richardson posted "he did what he came here to do" and both of them deleted their accounts. I know they both were frustrated with the Danny Green thing but they took a weird attitude towards it that's much more combative and frankly (to me) a bit selfish then I've seen them act in the now 8 years I've been in fantasy leagues with them two. Why they were so angry about it, I honestly do not know or understand. But apparently it was enough they felt they just wanted to leave. It sucks to lose two active owners and two of the league's "OGs" but if they weren't having fun anymore I can't fault them for leaving. But I still can give them shit about it!

Actually it is just because we have pretty long and exhaustive arguments about various rule changes, trade vetoes, re-sign votes, etc., and we'd rather not get input from everyone on every little thing. It is hard enough to get 8 people to agree on something without comments from 30 owners.

It would be nice to be a bit more in the loop

It's comical to me because this past off season the two of them co-commished a new league they looped me in on that almost identical to this but like 20 teams. They also gave themselves the two best teams and it seems at least one of them is still actively posting in the new league. What a joke. I should have known something was coming. Their league sucks to be honest, at least compared to this one haha

I think those discussions should be made public. You can still use PMs if you have some super secret stuff going on. It is so we can talk shit about all the other members without them knowing. If that was the case, there wouldn't even be a problem for me, but "arguments about various rule changes, trade vetoes, re-sign votes, etc." are actually of interest for everyone in this league - as "long and exhaustive" as they might be. I get your argument that it wouldn't necessarily make things easier. Getting 8 people with strong opinions on a certain topic on the same page is nearly impossible, 30 make this 100% impossible. But there are ways and methods to find soultions as a group at the end of a healthy discussion (votes??). If you give everyone the chance to get involved in this process those solutions will just be more profound and likely more accepted, than decisons made by a selected group behind closed doors. This could actually even prevent us from discussions afterwards.

I'd be willing to step down from my mod position.

I too am a bit too busy to function properly as a mod. I'll be happy to join on a consulting basis but no need for me to slow things down Also, I'm in another liege run by Miege and Richardson (miege.proboards.com) and there he seems to be active enough to run the league. In any case, if they just felt this league was going in a direction they didn't like I can't fault them for leaving, though I would have hoped it would be in a nicer manner.

I've had some time open up. I could help with moderating if you want.

I know I'm side-barring this thread, but I'm seriously interested in if they changed Resigns at all in their league. They were throwing temper-tantrums saying "It's broken, it's not working, it's not fair" but then weren't offering any solutions.
