but i think it is time to leave the league. its pretty obvious my vision of a great league doesn't match the majority here. not trying to take shots at anyone, not every league is right for everyone and not everyone is right for every league. hopefully i find a league i like as much as you guys like this one. good luck and good fortunes to all.

if people think this is over arguments, they are 100% wrong. the season is about to start, i could log into ESPN and set my line-up from there without having to see a word any of you say unless i am looking for a trade or something. i dont have to interact with anyone as long as i am happy to move on with my team as is. heres the thing, i don't care if I log on to the site to update my line-up. maybe it gets done weekly, maybe only monthly, maybe at some point i don't do it at all, is that the type of owner you even want?
obviously im to blame. i joined a league where they had a veto system i thought was stupid from day 1. i joined anyway. i dont find it enjoyable to try and trade with trying to balance what i think is fair, what i think my trading partner will be happy to receive, and what the co-gms will think is fair which is essentially what the mods are.
comes down to fun. this is a game and games should be fun. in a normal league, trading is the best part. i love to negotiate if i see something i like. here it is a chore. here you can spend a good amount of time working something out just to have three people who had no part in the back and forth tell you it was all for nothing just because they evaluate a player differently.
but ill stop going over what you all know which is my dissatisfaction of the veto system. trading to me is the best part, i dont find it fun in this league so the league as a whole isnt all that fun to me anymore. why should i spend my free time doing something im not enjoying?
again, it has nothing to do with disagreements, if someone actually wants to keep going back and forth on certain rules or opinions, then feel free to pm me your e-mail and we can go back and forth there. its not going to change the fact that i am no longer enjoying being part of the league.
i figured people would be happy that i was willing to pass it over to someone who is excited to be here. if that is not the case and you are satisfied that i will log on when i feel like it and it may not be weekly or even every month, then by all means, dont give someone else the team.
NAUHurdler - still butthurt over posting a trade you never had confirmation from all owners before posting? just remember not to post them before confirmation. youre comment is amusing since what exactly is the hard way in this instance? would i look better to you if i stayed and played? i find that highly unlikely since you are intent on blaming me for your mistake. i will gladly admit to making my fair share of mistakes here but i dont find it necessary to take accountability for your mistakes as well as much as you would hope i would in the case of the mega trade that fell through.
cavs - really? all the stuff directed at me was a joke? with buds you are give them crap and they give you crap and can pat each other at the end and be like 'just kidding' man but since we are no where near friends, these no such rapport there. honestly i think in your own way that last bit was another dig when you say 'Though, to be fair, I don't think I could have been any more obvious. ' as to again attack my intelligence or inability to understand an interaction. whatever, im not leaving over your comments. my last thoughts on the subject of your insults is that character is shown in how people act towards those they dont have to be nice to.
commish - appreciate all the help you have given and your time invested in the league. youre a good commish and any league would be lucky to have you. part of the reason i dont want my lack of caring to slip me into being a lame duck owner that gets replaced at some roll call time is i have a lot of respect for you and thought you deserved an owner that was excited to be here. i simply can no longer give that level of commitment.

    If you're not having fun, you are well within your rights to leave. I think everyone would agree that it makes no sense to keep doing something as pointless as fantasy basketball if you aren't having fun. Hell, even if you were having fun, but were too busy with things that actually matter, you would be within your rights to leave. In the grand scheme of things, your presence here is irrelevant. Frankly, this league itself is irrelevant to everyone but the people that enjoy being in it. So best of luck to you, and I hope you find a league that you consider more fun... which from the sounds of it is a league where everyone is boring and takes FANTASY BASKETBALL way too seriously. Good luck! But before you go, though hopefully you're gone because why would you still be here(?), let me just point this out to you:  You CHOSE to join a league you FUNDAMENTALLY disagreed with, and you went in KNOWING it would suck. What kind of person does that? You didn't get drafted into the military. You weren't forced to join this league, or play fantasy basketball in general. So why join? Did you think you would be some kind of fantasy basketball messiah? You were going to show us the error of our ways and lead us into a brighter fantasy basketball tomorrow? What kind of normal person joins something they know they won't like, then has the nerve to start bashing the way in which things are run? Yeah, because this is a FANTASY LEAGUE that no one should take seriously. I didn't realize I was supposed to take you to a ball game before some harmless ribbing. (And if you think anything I said was in any way serious, or was an actual insult... you need to learn to lighten up. A lot.) Insults?  Look, buddy, I've dealt with some pretty horrible people. Not horrible in that they are murderers or anything like that, but people that, like you just said, simply don't treat others with respect. You sit back and think, "What compels someone to treat another human being like that?" If you think ANYTHING I've said or posted was some sort of insult, then you need to stop taking things so seriously. I really don't know what else to tell you, other than:  PEACE!
